Iana Prakheeva
Currently Iana works across partnerships, strategy and experience at Instronic, a Barcelona-based studio operating at the intersection of architecture, technology and immersive visuals.
Her work focuses on the upstream stages of the design process, where questions of purpose, context and direction are still being shaped. Drawing on systems thinking and strategic design approaches, she works to question the brief, understand the wider systems surrounding a project and connect perspectives across business, architecture, technology and creative disciplines before solutions take form.
With a background spanning creative strategy, production and business strategy, Iana is particularly interested in what happens before we start designing: how we frame the problems we choose to address, whose perspectives shape them, and how an initial intention travels through the design process to become a lived experience. Her practice explores design not only as a way of creating solutions, but as a way of questioning and reframing what should be designed in the first place.
