Simon has almost twenty years’ experience of participatory design and teaching, mostly at the intersection of service design and systems thinking.
He has worked across private, public and third sector projects, including with fmcg companies, social enterprises, central government and charities, helping to collaboratively design hundreds of new organisations, products, services and projects.
Through his company, Redfront, he’s provided consultancy, coaching and training while developing a portfolio of exploratory projects designed to create new connections between disciplines.
His work with design and data led him to co-found a human-centred data company, The Data Place, while his more recent work with economics has helped him to build a community and set of resources intended to help designers navigate the wider economic systems that impact their work.
